7:31 a.m. Someone called to report that their truck had been burglarized. Subject(s) entered the vehicle and moved items around, but did not take anything.
9:30 a.m. Someone reported their moped had been stolen from Smith-Adams Parking Lot. Officers searched the area, but mo-ped did not locate the vehicle. The case is open.
2:48 p.m. ACU Police stopped a vehicle that was speeding on Campus Court. The vehicle was stopped, the driver was identified, and a written warning was issued.
Wednesday, Sept. 8
10 a.m. Abilene Police Department reported to ACU Police a fire alarm at Nelson Hall. The Fire Department and ACU Police checked the Hall and could not find a fire. The alarm was reset.
2:38 p.m. ACU Police assisted Abilene Police at the Allsups on Hwy 351 with a disturbance in progress. Officers identified the subject and issued a criminal trespass warning.
4:20 a.m. Someone reported that their iPhone had been stolen from Powell Fitness Center. The case is still open.
Thursday, Sept. 9
12:02 a.m. Someone reported that their iPhone had been stolen from the Bean. The phone was recovered and returned to the owner.
Friday, Sept. 10
9:26 a.m. Someone reported they had either misplaced or had their iPhone stolen from the locker rooms at Moody Coliseum or Bible Building. The case is still open.
10:10 p.m. ACU Police received reports of shots fired in the area of the 700 block of EN 12th. Officers searched the area and later determined fireworks were the source of the noise.
Saturday, Sept. 11
7 p.m. Someone reported their backpack had been stolen from the Teague Circle lawn in front of the Bible Building. The case is still Open.
Sunday, Sept. 12
1:28 a.m. ACU Police stopped a vehicle speeding in the 2100 block of Campus Court. The driver was identified and received a verbal warning.
Monday, Sept. 13
9:04 a.m. ACU Police responded to an unknown trouble alarm at Anytime Fitness on EN 10th Street. When officers arrived they discerned it was a medical call and the appropriate agencies were notified.
3:40 p.m. Someone reported their bike had been stolen from University Park Apartments. The case is still open.
