Police Tip of the Week: This week’s tip is about general vehicle safety. So far this winter we’ve avoided the usual amount of inclement, freezing weather customary for this time of year. While it’s still warm, check your car to make sure the battery terminals are clean; “crusty” terminals are a “jump start” call in the making.  February usually provides several deep freeze days and after each bout ACUPD sees a big increase in calls for assistance. To avoid being stranded on the road or away from your dorm or home, check those batteries!
