ACU is closer to having a presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
The university has begun construction on a new campus of 25,000 square feet of office and classroom space in Addison, a northern suburb of Dallas.
“We wanted a building that we think reflects very well on ACU,” said Dr. Stephen Johnson, vice president of academic affairs for ACU Dallas. “This is really a perfect fit for that, making the right impression in a high traffic area.”
A completion date for construction of the ACU Dallas location hasn’t been set, but university officials hope to be able to offer classes in the fall of 2016, if not sooner.
“We’re off to a great start,” Johnson said. “We have launched several programs, and we’re excited to launch more. The interest and demand in those programs has been high, and the enrollment in those programs has exceeded our expectations. We will continue to work to serve as many students as we can well with excellent programs that form them as servant leaders.”
