An indoor trampoline park will open soon on Judge Ely Boulevard and 11th Street.
Maxx Air Trampoline Park is a corporate business based out of Lubbock, Texas, and owned by Dr. Catherine Ronagham, Bill Nolan, Hans Hansen and Steve Kast.
Maxx Air Trampoline Park chose 949 South Judge Ely Street based on the location.
“Being by the stadium-expo center, the fair grounds, as well as the zoo,” Kast said.
The park, despite not being open yet, already has 88 employees. These employees include students from McMurry, Hardin-Simmons, ACU, the local Abilenian high schools and Cisco college, among others. Many of these students, Kast said, heard about the job opportunity through their coaches or through word-of-mouth.
Although many of the the employees recently hired by Maxx Air are students involved with athletics, no sports experience is required of applicants.
Kast recommended students to apply in-person. No resume is necessary, he said, nor prior experience.
“I have an application for them to fill out here,” Kast said.
The park already has a Facebook page, @maxxairpark, as well as a website, https://maxxairpark.com/.
