The Department of Athletics announced Keith Patterson as its selection for the head football coach of the 2022 season during a press conference Tuesday afternoon. Patterson marks newly named Vice President for Athletics Zack Lassiter’s first major addition to the university’s coaching staffs after previous head coach Adam Dorrell’s dismissal on Nov. 21.
