Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers to open in May

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers broke ground on an Abilene location Monday and is set to open in mid-May.

The new location at 1602 E. Overland Trail near I-20 will be the company’s 113th restaurant in Texas, according to a press release.

“We have wanted to come to Abilene for years, and I can’t tell you how excited we are to finally break ground in this great town,” said area director Mike Spano in a press release. “We’re looking forward to serving up our quality chicken finger meals and getting involved in the local community, supporting the schools and other organizations that help make Abilene such a great place to live, work, eat and play.”

Raising Cane’s will be hiring 65 crew members in the next few weeks.
