The counseling center needs a graphic design student to volunteer creative talents and services to assist with designing bulletin boards. Wesley Court, a new retirement living center in Abilene, needs volunteers Wednesday to assist elderly residents with various tasks as they move into the facility. Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Contact the Volunteer and Service-Learning Center for more information.
The Service Action Leadership Team is raising money to purchase Thanksgiving meals for at least 50 families from Taylor Elementary School. Each meal costs $45, and student donations are needed. Students are encouraged to bring donations of any amount to the Volunteer and Service-Learning Center by Friday.
