Dr. Henry Speck Jr., professor emeritus of Bible, died Wednesday at the age of 91.

He served as a faculty member at ACU for almost 30 years.

He also taught at the University of Texas and served as the president of the Christian College of the Southwest.

Speck is survived by his wife, Beatrice, and his son, Henry.
