Monday, March 16

12:30 a.m. The ACU Police issued a traffic stop at Will Hair Park because subjects were breaking park curfew.
12:54 a.m. A fire alarm sounded at Smith Adams Hall, but the alarm was set off by a shower, and everything was OK.
12:40 p.m. The ACU Police helped a student jumpstart a vehicle at The Grove apartments.
12:40 p.m. Someone reported criminal mischief to the Station.
12:52 p.m. The ACU Police aired up a tire for a student in the Mabee Hall parking lot.
3:38 p.m. The ACU Police aired up a tire for an employee on College Drive.
5:09 p.m. The ACU Police aired up a tire for a student on Washington Boulevard.
7:34 p.m. The ACU Police unlocked a vehicle at the University Park apartments parking lot.

Tuesday, March 17

1 a.m. Someone reported students in the Bob and Shirley Hunter Welcome Center, and the ACU Police advised them to leave.
1:05 a.m. The ACU Police issued a traffic stop on Campus Court because a subject disregarded a stop sign.
8:20 a.m. The ACU Police placed barricades at the Bob and Shirley Hunter Welcome Center.
8:34 a.m. Someone reported a theft at the Station.
11:02 a.m. The ACU Police unlocked a vehicle at the University Park apartments parking lot.
2 p.m. The ACU Police attempted to locate a subject with a warrant on campus.
3:07 p.m. The ACU Police aired up a tire for a student in the Big Purple parking lot.
6:22 p.m. The ACU Police attempted to locate a student and deliver an emergency message, but was unable to locate the student.
8 p.m. The ACU Police monitored a basketball game in the Bennett Gym.
9 p.m. The ACU Police assisted a resident director with the capture of a bat inside of Smith Adams Hall; the bat was captured and released outside.

Wednesday, March 18

12:22 a.m. The ACU Police issued a traffic stop on Campus Court because a driver was speeding.
10:53 a.m. The ACU Police assisted the Abilene Police with a disturbance on Campus Court.
2:17 p.m. A fire alarm sounded at Smith Adams Hall, but it was due to a maintenance crew working on the alarm.
3:45 p.m. The ACU Police cut a lock off a student’s bicycle.
8:35 p.m. Someone made an incomplete 911 call from a Nelson Hall call box, but everything was OK.
10:30 p.m. The ACU Police contacted Animal Control in reference to a dead animal on the Lunsford Trail.

Thursday, March 19

1:10 a.m. Someone reported a suspicious subject on Washington Boulevard, but the ACU Police was unable to locate anyone.
1:17 a.m. The ACU Police delivered an emergency message to an employee off campus.
2:04 a.m. The ACU Police issued a traffic stop at Will Hair Park and advised the subjects of the park’s curfew.
3:40 a.m. The ACU Police assisted the Abilene Police with a burglar alarm on Judge Ely Boulevard.
8:08 a.m. The ACU Police issued a parking violation on ACU Drive.
1:30 p.m. The ACU Police assisted a parent with emergency contact at McKinzie Hall.
1:47 p.m. The ACU Police assisted with a vehicle fire on ACU Drive.
3:02 p.m. The ACU Police unlocked a vehicle at Wal-Mart.
4 p.m. The ACU Police responded to a vehicle accident at the University Park apartments.
6:43 p.m. The ACU Police responded to a hit-and-run accident at the University Park apartments.
9:55 p.m. The ACU Police helped a student jumpstart a vehicle at the University Church parking lot.
11:50 p.m. The ACU Police issued a traffic stop on Campus Court because a driver was speeding.

Friday, March 20

4:40 a.m. The ACU Police contacted a suspicious subject in the Williams Performing Arts Center parking lot, and the subject was asleep in a vehicle and soon left campus.
9:08 a.m. The ACU Police attempted to locate a subject with an outstanding warrant for arrest.
1:15 p.m. The ACU Police issued a traffic stop in the Brown Library parking lot for an expired inspection.
4:20 p.m. The ACU Police took an injured student to the Hendrick Medical Center emergency room.
5:35 p.m. The ACU Police responded to a medical emergency in the “World Famous Bean.”
9:47 p.m. Someone reported a barking dog on Westheimer Road, but the ACU Police was unable to locate the owner.
10 p.m. Someone reported a gas smell near Gardner Hall.

Saturday, March 21

1:08 a.m. The ACU Police issued a traffic stop on Campus Court because a driver disregarded a stop sign.
1:35 a.m. The ACU Police assisted the Abilene Police with a noise violation near campus.
9:31 a.m. A burglar alarm sounded at Physical Resources, and the ACU Police discovered an open door.
4:43 p.m. The ACU Police checked a card reader at the Adams Center and replaced a low battery.
5 p.m. The ACU Police checked the welfare of a sick student in Mabee Hall.
5:15 p.m. The ACU Police gave a tour of the Bob and Shirley Hunter Welcome Center and discovered a roof door unlocked.
8:21 p.m. Someone reported a suspicious subject inside Moody Coliseum, but the subject was a coach.
8:40 p.m. The ACU Police contacted students playing basketball inside Moody Coliseum and asked the students to leave.
9:55 p.m. The ACU Police attempt to locate an intoxicated driver on Ambler Avenue.
11:45 p.m. Someone reported fireworks at Barret Hall, but the ACU Police could not locate the source.

Sunday, March 22

1:34 a.m. Someone reported a loud party near campus, and the ACU Police contacted the tenant and issued a warning.
1:43 a.m. The ACU Police assisted the Abilene Police in reference to a loud party at The Grove apartments.
2:52 a.m. Someone reported a loud party near campus, but the ACU Police was unable to locate the party.
3:05 a.m. Someone reported a loud party near campus, and the ACU Police contacted the tenant and issued a warning.
4:15 p.m. The ACU Police recovered traffic cones and bases off campus.

TIP:
Remember that campus parking is only allowed in marked spaces. Parking is not allowed in any unmarked areas on campus.
