For the second straight season Northwest Missouri State ended the Wildcats hopes of a national championship. The Bearcats used a strong third quarter en route to a 35-10 stomp of ACU. The Wildcats finished the season 9-4 and made their fourth-straight NCAA Division II Playoff appearance.
