ACU Facilities: Teague Special Events Center: A student reported the theft of an Apple iPhone 5s from the women’s restroom at Teague SEC.

ACU Facilities: McGlothlin Campus Center: An ACU employee reported the theft of her purse from the ACU bookstore.

ACU Residence Hall: Mabee Hall: ACUPD investigated the report of possible marijuana possession in Mabee Hall; no marijuana was found.

08/23/2014 11:36 p.m. NOISE VIOLATION

Adjunct Area: 2100 block of Campus Court: ACUPD investigated a citizen complaint of a loud party. Tenant was given a warning and then disbanded the party. Subsequent complaints will result in municipal citations.

Adjunct Area: 600 block of EN 23rd St.: ACUPD investigated a citizen’s complaint of a loud party. Tenant was given a warning and then disbanded the party. Subsequent complaints will result in municipal citations.

ACU Parking Lot: Business Lot: A student’s vehicle was damaged by a hit-and-run driver in the COBA lot.

Adjunct Area: 600 EN 16th: ACUPD investigated a resident’s concern about a male going door-to-door asking for money.

08/26/2014 10:00 p.m. SUSPICIOUS PERSON

ACU Residence Hall: Smith Adams Hall: ACUPD responded to a suspicious person who was begging for money. The suspicious person was gone on arrival.

08/27/2014 10:22 a.m. INTOXICATED PERSON

Adjunct Area: 1600 Highway 351: ACUPD assisted Abilene PD with an intoxicated male near WalMart. Arrested and booked for public intoxication.
