10/03/2014 10:28 a.m. THEFT

ACU Facilities: Hardin Administration Building: ACUPD was notified of the theft of a computer from the Administration Building which occurred in July 2014.

10/05/2014 07:30 p.m. BURGLARY OF MOTOR VEHICLE

ACU Parking Lot: University Park Apartments Lot: An ACU student reported the burglary of his automobile while it was parked in the UP parking lot.

10/05/2014 09:46 p.m. BURGLARY OF MOTOR VEHICLE

ACU Parking Lot: University Park Apartment Lot: An ACU student reported the burglary of his automobile while it was parked in the UP parking Lot.

10/07/2014 08:40 a.m. THEFT

ACU Facilities: Mall Area: ACUPD received a report that unknown suspects had stolen the benches from Kojie Park in the mall area. One bench was found in the GATA Fountain but the seat from the other bench is missing. Damage estimates to university property are pending.

10/07/2014 02:35 a.m. SUSPICIOUS PERSON

ACU Residence Hall: University Park Apartments: ACUPD investigated a traveling magazine salesman working door-to-door in UP. He was advised of the posted “No Solicitation” notice and then instructed to leave the campus.

10/9/2014 03:36 a.m. ATTEMPTED THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE

ACU Parking Lot: Smith Adams Hall Lot: A suspect broke into and also attempted to steal a vehicle from the Smith Adams lot. ACUPD officers located a suspect who fled on foot. Officers pursued but lost him. Officers recovered his backpack, burglary tools and some stolen property. Investigation is ongoing.
