Weekly Highlight Report for March 14 – March 21, 2023

03/14/2023 1:00 p.m.   Sex Offense Off Campus

ACU PD was contacted regarding an incident that occurred off campus. The investigation revealed there was no offense at this time. 

 

03/15/2023 12:56 p.m.  Alarm Bullock Hall

ACU PD and AFD responded to a fire alarm at a student residence hall. The cause of the alarm was burnt food, no fire reported. 

 

03/17/2023  9:18 a.m. Alarm Teague Center

ACU PD responded to an alarm at the facility, a gas leak was detected. AFD responded and shut the gas off to the facility and maintenance was called to respond. 

 

03/18/2023 1:25 a.m.  Intoxicated Driver 2000 block of N Treadaway

ACU PD and APD responded to reports of an intoxicated driver on N Treadaway Blvd. A traffic stop led to the arrest of the driver for driving while intoxicated. 

 

03/18/2023 4:25 p.m. Urinating in Public 500 block of N Judge Ely

While using the car wash an ACU PD officer observed a male urinating in an open area visible to the public. The male was issued a citation for urinating in public.
