Police Log: Student rescued after being trapped in Dillard elevator

  1/18/2026 1500 hrs. Theft, UP Parking Lot

A student reported a scooter stolen from the parking lot at University Park Apartments. The investigation is ongoing. 

1/15/2026 1345 hrs.  Elevator Rescue, Dillard Hall

ACUPD responded and assisted a student who was trapped on the elevator in Dillard Hall. The elevator was placed out of order and student was able to get off the elevator without incident. 

1/14/2026 2100 hrs. Accident Report, Dillard Hall Lot

ACUPD took a report for a private property collision that occurred in the Dillard Hall Lot.
