Several vehicles were egged while parked in the UP Apartments parking lot. An investigation is ongoing to identify the suspects.
9/21/2026 0900 hrs. Theft, Hunter Welcome Center Lot
ACU PD took a report for a stolen catalytic converter from a large box truck parked in the Hunter Welcome Center parking lot.
9/22/2026 0430 hrs. DWI w/Open Container, Adjunct Area
A subject was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated with an open container in the vehicle following a traffic stop by ACUPD.
9/22/2026 1400 hrs. Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information, University Park Apartments
An unknown suspect used a victim’s name, date of birth and Social Security number to open fraudulent accounts in the victim’s name. The investigation is ongoing to identify the suspect.

Chief’s Tip of the Week: Accidents happen. If you strike a car or object with your vehicle, you are required to either make a report or leave your information on the other person’s vehicle.
