November 19, 2015 by Derek Marcelain

Not many people are given a chance to play Div. I sports. Out of all the high school athletes in the nation, only five percent go on to play college sports, according to the NCAA. Make it Rain: Wentz proves height isn’t everything

November 15, 2015 by Derek Marcelain

Standing at 5-foot-9, Parker Wentz can count on one hand the times he's guarded an opponent who was shorter than him. At the Div. I level of college basketball, where guards typically exceed six-feet, it puts the sharpshooter from Lubbock at a normal disadvantage. But you don't become one of ACU's premiere men's basketball players by counting ... [Read More…]

In only his first year at ACU, junior receiver Carl Whitley has already had a huge impact on the passing game for the Wildcats. The San Antonio ... [Read More…]

October 13, 2015 by Derek Marcelain

At 6'1" and 290 pounds, Josh Bloom does not strike most people as the prototypical nurse in training. In fact, if anything, he may remind most as a bodyguard or club bouncer.
